What do you enjoy most about your role at Eventus?
Firstly, and foremost, I truly appreciate the team dynamic, everyone genuinely gets along and maintains a close, supportive relationship both inside and outside of work. I am part of a team of experienced, enthusiastic, and passionate recruiters who clearly love what they do, which is a real testament to the collective success of Eventus Legal. I also value the independence and autonomy we are given to work on our own initiative, while still having the support of our manager and wider team whenever it is needed.
How do you unwind after work?
I love spending quality time with my family and taking long countryside walks with my two spirited Border Terriers after work. I am passionate about cooking and enjoy experimenting with new recipes especially those with Asian-inspired flavours.
What do you like to do outside of work?
I am a keen amateur “interior designer” with a love for all things home and interiors. When I am not decorating rooms or rearranging furniture, you’ll find me staying active at the local gym or exploring new spots to eat around my local area. When I’m not decorating or cooking, you’ll find me glued to true crime documentary or enjoying the outdoors with my dogs and daughter.

Top tip that you would give to a business to ensure a robust recruitment strategy?
Many businesses focus too heavily on filling immediate vacancies, which can lead to reactive, short-term hiring. Instead, treat recruitment as a strategic function and develop a brand and organisation that attracts and most importantly retains the right candidates.
