Record breaking year for the Eventus Recruitment Group

We’re celebrating our most successful year to date at Eventus Recruitment Group, with a 26% increase in written fees compared with the previous financial year, a growing team and expansion into new geographical areas.

Headquartered in Lancashire, we recruit across legal, finance and financial services nationwide. During our 2025/26 financial year, we helped a record number of professionals find new roles and made placements with 85 employers, up from 69 the previous year.

Welcoming new colleagues

Over the past 12 months, we’ve welcomed three recruitment consultants to Eventus – Vanessa Grey, Gemma Clarke and Izzie Vaughan.

Their appointments have brought our team to 10 recruitment consultants for the first time, helping us support more employers and candidates while strengthening our presence in the Midlands.

Alongside working with more businesses, we’ve continued to develop existing client relationships. During the year, 33 employers recruited two or more candidates through us.

Growth across our markets

The North West remained our largest market, with written fees increasing by 51%. Yorkshire also recorded strong growth, rising by 66%, while the South Home Counties saw a 41% increase.

We also made placements in the East and West Midlands, with Gemma and Izzie helping us extend our reach and build relationships in these areas.

A team achievement

Reflecting on the year, Siobhan Courtney, Managing Director of Eventus Recruitment Group, said: “Behind these results are people taking the next step in their careers and employers finding the talent they need. We’re proud of the work our team has done to support both throughout the year.

“Seeing more clients choose Eventus, and established clients return to recruit with us again, is particularly rewarding as a small business. Those relationships depend on understanding each business and taking the time to understand what candidates want from their next role.

“Our team deserves real credit for this year’s success. As we enter the new financial year, we’ll continue to build our specialist networks and invest in the support we give to clients and candidates.”

Looking ahead

Alongside our commercial growth, we’ve introduced a career progression framework offering routes into both people management and senior specialist roles. This gives our consultants opportunities to progress by developing their market expertise and client relationships, as well as through leadership.

For our 2026/27 financial year, which runs from October to September, we’ll focus on expanding our candidate networks and strengthening our support in developing markets. Improvements to our marketing and technology will help us stay in touch with candidates and support them throughout their job search.

Thank you to our clients, candidates and colleagues for being part of our most successful year yet.
