Does Eventus charge candidates for finding a job?

No. We do not charge professionals for career consultations or for sourcing job opportunities. Businesses specialising in law, finance and financial planning pay us to match talented individuals with their open job vacancies on their behalf. As a result, all our services are completely free of charge for professionals who are job searching.

Will my CV be sent to employers without permission?

No. We will always obtain your written permission before sending your CV to any employer. If we are discussing a specific vacancy with you, we will provide details of the job role and employer first, and only send your CV once you have confirmed that you are happy for us to do so. In some cases, following an exploratory career consultation, we may suggest proactively approaching a carefully targeted group of employers who we believe could be well suited to your experience, goals and preferences. This initial approach is usually made on an anonymous basis, meaning your name and identifying details are not disclosed. If an employer then expresses interest and wishes to see your full CV, we will speak to you first, provide further details, and obtain your written permission before disclosing your identity or sending your CV. You remain fully in control of where your CV goes throughout the process.

Can Eventus help with CV writing and interview preparation?

Yes, we provide advice on how to showcase your experience effectively and can help you prepare or refine your CV, before making any application on your behalf. In addition, when we secure interviews for you, we conduct our bespoke job interview preparation with you to ensure that you are fully prepared for your job interview/s. Furthermore, we offer salary guidance and support at each stage of the job search process, including negotiating offers.

Are recruiters at the Eventus Recruitment Group confidential?

Yes. The recruiters at Eventus Recruitment Group work with the upmost confidentiality. We understand that job searching can be sensitive, particularly if you are currently employed, which is why we will never disclose your identity or send your full CV to an employer without your written permission.

In some cases, we may suggest approaching a carefully selected group of employers on your behalf, based on your experience, goals and preferences. Where appropriate, this initial approach will usually be made on an anonymous basis, so your name and identifying details are not disclosed. If an employer is interested in your skills and experience and wishes to see your full CV, we will speak to you first, provide further details about the firm or opportunity, and obtain your written permission before disclosing your identity. You remain in control of where your details are shared at every stage.

Does Eventus Recruitment recruit for remote or hybrid jobs?

We regularly work with employers offering flexible and hybrid working arrangements, although this varies depending on the role and employer.  Fully remote roles are less common, as most employers want their teams to be in the office at least part-time. However, we will always discuss working arrangements with you clearly so you can decide whether an opportunity is right for you.
