What are your strengths?
Answer:
Carry out some self-analysis to determine your strengths. Focus on both your personal and professional strengths and your achievements. Ensure you highlight particular characteristics about yourself that are required for your job role.

What are your weaknesses?
Answer:
For this answer, focus on a strength. Most strengths taken to the extreme become weaknesses. State the weakness but turn it into a strength, so that it becomes a positive, for example, being conscientiousness. Another way to answer this question is to explain how you had a weakness, for example, time management and how you took action to overcome it and now it’s one of your strengths.

Tell me about yourself.
Answer:
Prepare a short answer that takes no more than 2-3 minutes to answer. Highlight areas that you’d like the interviewee to ask you about further. Include appropriate education, work experience and significant achievements and successes.

Answer:
To answer this question, preparing around four strengths and discuss how you can bring your skills and experience to the job role.

Thoroughly research the organisation you are going to, don’t just look at their website, look at their competitors, read the related press and gain as much information about them as possible. Answer:
Focus on your desire to do the job well and to develop your skills and confidence. Ensure you are realistic if discussing future ambitions. Answer clear and concisely about taking responsibility and progressing your career within the company when the time is appropriate.

Answer:
Keep your reply short and don’t communicate anything negative, such as bitterness or complaints about your previous company. Focus your answer on wanting to develop yourself, build on your skills and taking on more responsibility in a more demanding job role.
